I am a social photographer and the photographs I take can vary from one day until the next. Whatever takes my eye becomes the next subject.
I enjoy macrophotography. This is the art of photographing small objects like flowers, bugs etc. The minute detail you can capture can be quite fascinating indeed.
I also enjoy emersing myself in my surroundings within Dumfries and Galloway and the North West Lakes of Cumbria, looking for interesting compositions and spectacular landscape scenes. Many of my landscapes have appeared on the weather forecasts on ITV Tyne Tees and Border television.
2011 has indeed been an exceptionally busy year for me. The South of Scotland Car Club which was founded in 1947 ( website www.soscc.co.uk) have honoured me by making me their official photographer. As a result I have attended all the major rallies throughout the U.K.
I am sure 2012 will be equally as busy attending the major rallies throughout the UK and also the Autotests and 12 Car rallies organised by the South of Scotland Car Club.
I also cover functions for the Dumfriesshire Newspapers Group on behalf of the Chief Reporter Mr Rod Edgar of the Annandale Observer and Herald, Dumfries Courier and the Moffat News.
I hope you continue to enjoy and achieve some satisfaction from my Images and feel free to choose if you like.
